Mosquito Free, Worry Free
Guaranteed Mosquito Control in Chicagoland & Southern Wisconsin
Spray for Special Events
If you have a special event coming up such as an outdoor wedding, family get-together, or a graduation, you don’t want to be swatting mosquitoes all day. Try our party application for your next event and eliminate mosquitoes and larvae the days leading up to and during the event.
Take Out Mosquitoes
At Skeeter Beater, we offer ULV broadcast applications and wet barrier applications to protect you and eradicate mosquitoes on corporate campuses, golf course fairways, individual residences, and entire communities. Enjoy your summer, and your property, again by letting us take care of those pesky adult mosquitoes. We provide mosquito control across the northern Chicago suburbs, including communities like Buffalo Grove.
Kill Mosquitoes at the Source
The best choice for you may be to eliminate mosquito larvae. There is no breeding site too large for us to handle. We use map and field studies to highlight potential breeding areas and eliminate the mosquito larva before they hatch. Plus, we choose our products with your family, your pets and the environment in mind.

WE OFFER CONSISTENT, PERSONALIZED SERVICE TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS
Skeeter Beater stands out from other mosquito control companies in a few important ways.
Experience comes first. We are a family-owned company that has served local customers since 2003, and more than 1,000 families trust us with their yards. That experience shows in how we treat each property.
Our packages come with a 10-day guarantee: if mosquitoes come back within 10 days of a treatment, we come back at no charge. Our Protective Barrier Treatment targets the shaded places where mosquitoes rest, so each treatment lasts as long as it can, and we keep refining our products and methods.
Another aspect that sets Skeeter Beater apart is our highly trained and licensed technicians. Unlike some of the competition, Skeeter Beater employs local, trained employees rather than relying on impersonal call centers. This ensures that customers receive the best service possible, with technicians who have in-depth knowledge of the local area and its mosquito control needs.
In terms of technology, Skeeter Beater goes above and beyond. We email customers before and after each treatment, so you always know what's happening. All our vehicles are GPS-tracked for accurate arrival times, and we use real-time weather data to schedule treatments at the most effective times.
There are other options out there, but our focus on the best products, service, and people is why our customers keep coming back.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does mosquito spray last?
Skeeter Beater's barrier spray treatments last 14-21 days depending on rainfall and temperature. We auto-schedule all mosquito treatments on a bi-weekly basis April 15 through October 15 so you never have to call between visits.
Is mosquito spray safe for kids and pets?
Our organic, botanical treatments are odorless once dry, and people and pets can return to treated areas once they have dried, usually within an hour. We do not use synthetic pyrethroids as our default treatment.
When does mosquito season start in Chicagoland?
Under Illinois law (415 ILCS 60/13.4), commercial mosquito spray treatments cannot be applied before April 15 or after October 15.
