Skeeter Beater is looking for Spray Technicians – Illinois Department of Agriculture license is required but can be acquired through our company, we are willing to train the right candidate! Working hours are Monday – Saturdays and some holidays. This is a seasonal position that will last through September.

Reports to: Plant Health Care Operations Manager (“PHCM”)

Summary of Job Function:
The major objective of the Technician position is to perform applications in accordance with daily
production standards. This is achieved by exemplary work habits, follow-through of daily and
weekly assignments set by the PHCM, establishing and maintaining a good working relationship
with your manager and with property/project managers as required, keeping the manager
informed of progress and challenges on the job site, ensure the quality of work being performed
according to Skeeter Beater standards, and follow through with accurate paperwork on a daily
basis. The technician will also maintain a positive image for Skeeter Beater in the field and in
the industry.

REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

● Getting equipment and materials ready prior to the start of the day
● Routing / Schedule will be provided to maintain an effective day for you
● Survey yards for mosquito breeding grounds
● Follow service instructions to provide a high level of customer service
● Engage proactively with customers to provide expert support, recommendations and
answer customer questions as needed
● Strong communication with office and supervisors
● Apply control products to customer property
● Ability to communicate in English/Spanish

● Able to move around safely & quickly, lifting at least 50 lbs.

License:
● Hold a current or prior Illinois Pesticide Applicator or Operator General Standards
License
● Must have class “D” license at a minimum with a clean driving record
● Have a working smartphone
